Galileo is mostly known for being an astronomer. He is called the Father of Modern Astronomy. Some of his major accomplishments include that in 1610, he noticed thesurface of the moon was marked by craters and had shadowy spots. He also discovered the different phases of venus. He discovered the four moons of Jupiter. Something a bit more interesting he discovered is the myraid stars, they are invisible to the human eye. How did he discover all of this from being on Earth? Galileo used his biggest accomplishment, with his knowledge he invnetedthe telescope, which led him to many more discoveries! His invention of the telepscope definitly impacted his generation and the ones after him. It helped many other scientist to understand more about space.
